7P5 - Augmented Reality

Using Delightex Edu I created a 6 sided story about a wish granting mermaid because I wanted to see if I could push myself farther than I have before and figure out how to make a mermaid.

During this process, I learned how to fit a story on too a 6 sided cube without it looking horrendously weird.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I thought about what I wanted to create, and then I planned it out, then I created it.

A challenge I overcame on this project was not being able to turb the cube without leaving behind what I created. I was able to do it by placing the cube up really high in the air and then just adding to it without turning it.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change is properly making a mermaid. The reason why I would change it is because I think it would have made this look a lot cooler.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in VR Software Developers, Graphics Engineers, and Unity/Unreal Engine Developers because It involves creating VR worlds and coding, like what I did in this.
