Cardboard, tape, hot glue, markers, etc.

What is your plan to create in this project?

Unicorn Flavored Milk Duds

What unique qualities will your project have?

Unicorns, whimsy, and a creative item that hasn't been made before.

Day 1

We did the sketch of the Milk duds.

Day 2

We strarted to build the box.

Day 3

We outlined and drew the letters.

Day 4

We covered the box in paper and added the design

Day 5

We added the back, adding ingredients and a unicorn.

Day 6

We finished adding details and color. Wrapping up the project.

Using cardboard, markers, paper, and lots of hot glue, I created Unicorn Flavored Milk Duds because me and my team agreed on the idea,
we had Milk Duds as our idea but we decided to as a spin.
During this process, I learned how to work with other people, how to incorporate everyone's ideas, and how to use teamwork to solve difficult problems that needed to be overcame.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I was able to take a variety of materials, tools, and ideas and create something with multiple people.
A challenge I overcame on this project was design and logo mishaps. I was able to do it by talking with my teammates and figuring out a solution to the problem.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change I would listen to my teammates more and see what other ideas they had. The reason why I would change it is because it would be interesting to see how things would've changed and how we could've done things differently.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in Engineering Design because me and my team brainstormed our project, drew it, and created it.
