Planning Questions

I am working by myself.

What materials will you need for your project?

Computer, my hands, a coding website (Delightex Edu)

What is your plan to create in this project?

The ocean

What unique qualities will your project have?

The ocean, and a super cool educational journery.

Day 1

I started to mess around with the website and created an ocean enviroment.

Day 2

I began to create the landscape for my ocean design

Day 3

I worked on the enviroment some more, by adding more rocks and land to the area.

Day 4

I am STILL working on the ocean enviroment. I don't know how, or why, but I am.

Day 5

I add animals and then a fact about them and a safety tip for each animal about the internet, theres a variety of safety tips!

Day 6

I wrapped up the the animals and texts and added adjustments to make it to my liking.

Day 7

I finally finished the world and began to look at it in VR.

Day 8

I worked on my website and worked on the revisory.

Day 9

I filmed my video for my website.

Using Delightex Edu, I created an educational ocean journey with multiple safety tips, because I wanted to teach people about the ocean and safety tips about the internet.
During this process, I learned how to make an educational VR world and how to make animals move.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I created a VR world using the resources on the computer and my imagination.
A challenge I overcame on this project was not understanding how to work the websites contents. I was able to do it by looking up tutorials and asking for help from my classmates. It was difficult but I was able to over come it.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change is how much I had and would make it more interactive. The reason why I would change it is because I think it would've been a lot cooler and I think I would've been able to push and challenge myself more.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in VR developers, 3D artists, UX/UI designers, and technical artists because it involves creating a 3D VR world thats interactive/eduycational/ or a game.
