Using Legos, my computer, and an Ipad, I created and Imotion movie because I thought it would be cool to make a Imotion movie with a good lesson to it. I really like to use legos, and I knew that making shelves would be fun to make, that's why we made it a grocerie store. I choose the theme work hard, because school if one of the places you have to work the hardest so it makes since.
During this process, I learned how to use imotion. I learned how to do this because Mr. Renner went over it and my partner went over it. Another thing I learned is how to put my Imotion into my Imovie. These were both fun things to do because it gave me new skills that I didn't have yet. I have learned multiple things in my class and this was one of my favorites.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative communicator because I worked with a partner and we shared both of our ideas. Being a creative communitcator means I have present my ideas but also make comprimizing. I did both of these things and it really helped our project.
A challenge I overcame on this project was having my person hold a lego piece even though he didn't have hands. I was able to do it by putting the lego piece on him at a different angle. I am glad I fingured it out because it made the movie a lot more realilistic. It seems like a silly thing, but I thought it was important because I wanted to put effort into this video
Given a chance to do this again, I would change The Camra angle we had. The reason why I would change it is because it looked shaky. I also think if we changed the back round so it wouldn't be such a distraction. Even though I would change these things I still like our video, and I am proud of what we did.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. It connects to this because making a video is part of digital multimedia.
My project connects to careers in Lego set desinning because I used legos to make my own story. Lego sets can be anything as long as it has the right pieces and has instructions. So I can build my own Lego set then write down the instructions, and get the right pieces and BAM, I made a lego set.
