• Using cardboard and glue, I created a ice cream truck. because I thought it would be a good test to  my creativity, and a fun project.

• During this process, I learned how to use a glue gun and how to measure accurately.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I created something new by trying different strategies, and solving problems. .

• A challenge I overcame on this project was I had to find a way to make a giant ice cream that could stay on the top of my truck. I was able to do it by practicing at home with different materials and different strategy's.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way I did the wheels.. The reason why I would change it is because I think it would look nicer if I painted the wheels black.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in art/ sculpture making because I have learned how to make things with carboard which I can use to make sculptures.
