What materials will you need for your project?
iPad, robots, and 3 meter sticks
What is your plan to create in this project?
to create a race so i can win against Henry
What unique qualities will your project have?
coding the robots to move and meter sticks as a race track.
my code is a bit better
henrys code is amazing
day one - worked on website.
day two - worked on coding the bolts
day four - testing if the race will work
day 5 - took video
day 6 - finished and turned in
Using sphero bolts, I created a code for sphero bolts. the code is for a race of the bolts. I also created a video to show that I used my time wisely.
During this process, I learned that not all codes work the way you want them to. I also learned that if the code was longer, it was slower. another thing I learned was how to code a race.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project is tied to global collaborator because my project was shared to the word by my website.
A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to win. I wasn't able to do it because my code was way too slow. another challenge I overcame was getting Henry to agree with me.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change my code. The reason why I would change it is that if I changed the code I could win. another thing to change is the track length.
