Are you working by yourself or with a team? I am working with a team of four.
What materials will you need for your project? A table, Carboard, tape, scissors , iPad
What is your plan to create in this project? A robot running into a trap and getting stuck.
What unique qualities will your project have? A robot and a new and improved Leprechaun trap.
Using= Carboard, tape, and a iPad , we created a leprechaun trap because of Saint Patrick's Day.
During this process, I learned how to customize a robot..
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative Communicator because we had to create and think of something together.
A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the robot to fit into the box. I was able to do it by measure the robot and measure the box so that robot would fit..
Given a chance to do this again, I would change color of the box and the robot. The reason why I would change it is because it looks terrible and it looks like we just cut a hole in a box.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Engineering.
Here is Brycen looking up some different ways to make the trap.
Here am I trying out the trap to see if its works.
Here is our drippy robot.
