Using Tinker cad, I created a door stopper because it helps the doors stay open.During this process, I learned how to create a door stopper and how to group different items together. The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because I learned how to make items bigger and smaller. Also I learned how to raise and lower different items.A challenge I overcame on this project was learning how to group things together. I was able to do it by going to YouTube and looking it up. Given a chance to do this again, I would change the size and the color. The reason why I would change it is because the door stopper will break because it is to small and we have limited colors. Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Game design and V.R.
Here is one side of my project with HMS on the back and the wiggles on the bottom are for the grip so the door stopper doesn't fall over.
This is the top of the door stopper. The top of the door stopper is flat so that it fits under the door.
This is the best side on the project because it has my name on it and it had the HMS sign on the back.
This is the HMS sign so that every one knows that is belongs to the Hastings Middle School.
