8P7 - Second 3-D Print

The print would have taken forever to print so I took away 5 planes and shortened it a bit.

I will be working alone. The materials I will need will be the 3 - D printer and tinker cad. The uniqueness of my project is that it is a hand designed aircraft carrier and planes that I had to design to make them fit on the carrier.

This is my finished project before the print.

• Using Tinker Cad , I created a aircraft carrier and planes because it looked fun .

• During this process, I learned that you need to make custom pieces to put the carrier and planes together.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative designer because I custom designed a aircraft carrier and planes.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the carrier to the shape I wanted it to be. I was able to do it by using the whole blocks to shape the bow and other areas.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the size of the carrier and the planes. The reason why I would change it is because I would like it to be bigger.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Construction trades CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Navy ship designing.
