8p4 - Drones

Using the camera on a tello drone, I created a video and a picture because I've never done anything like that with a drone bfore..

During this process, I learned how to fly, as well as take pictures and videos with a tello drone. 

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge constructor because I didn't know how to fly the drones, so through trial and error I constructed the knowledge on how to do so. 

A challenge I overcame on this project was keeping the drone steady. I was able to do it by countering the way the drone was drifting very slightly at a time, in order to make the drone level.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the amount of pictures I took. The reason why I would change it is because I only took a few practice pictures, and only one final picture. 

 Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the digital multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in photogaphy with drones.
