Planning Questions
Are you working by yourself or in a team?
By myself.
What materials will you need for your project?
A computer (to take apart) and the necessary equipment.
What is your plan to create in this project?
I intend to learn how the computer functions and if there are any flaws in the construction.
What unique qualities will your project have?
It will teach me how a computer works, while still being hands-on.
Made website page, did list of 10 and planning questions. Started project.
Continued on project. Took the screen off.
Continued taking apart main base.
Worked on website. This is another image from yesterday.
these are all the major components from the computer
Using some screwdrivers, I took apart a computer because I thought it would be a fun thing to learn.
During this process, I learned how much Loctite they use on the screws.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to knowledge constructor because I learned what parts the computer uses.
A challenge I overcame on this project was the screws. I was able to do it by pressing down with my bodyweight to loosen them.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change what parts I tore apart completely. The reason why I would change it is because some parts are able to be seen completely when they are still assembled.
