Are you working by yourself or in a team?
I'm working alone
What materials will you need for your project?
A 3D printer
What is your plan to create in this project?
A butterfly flicker
What unique qualities will your project have?
It will be my own design and I will make it from scratch
I figured out what I was going to 3D print
I started making it
I finished my butterfly flicker but there were problems with it so im still working on it
Today I fixed the problems and started 3D printing
Today I printed it then it broke but I fixed it and it works
Today I finished my website
Using Tinkercad, I created a butterfly flicker because I could have to design stuff in the future.
During this process, I learned That you have check everything you design before you print.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative designer because I designed my project all by myself.
A challenge I overcame on this project was having to upscale it and it braking. I was able to do it by replacing the broken parts with popsicle sticks.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change How thick the parts that broke were so they wouldn't break. The reason why I would change it is because It would spin better than it does right now.
