Reflection:

• Using IMovie and an IPad, I created an about me video because I want to be successful In the class and share my video with my website. I also think that this will be a important skill in the future depending on which job I choose. Also this could be something that people in the future reflect back on so i wanted to make it good.

• During this process, I learned how to use tools and use sound for creating videos. Also I learned how to use a creative commons license for licensed pictures. I learned how to use different levels of designing to create certain things.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I thought about my video and designed it uniquely. I tried to use different strategies to design my video. and I also learned about useful tools and worked hard through my design.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was having limited time to create it. I was able to do it by working hard on it everyday that I could. and finding ways to complete it faster.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change how loud my voice is. I would also change how clear my voice is. another thing is how quality the video is The reason why I would change it is because I had to do more editing and turn the volume up and learn how to do that. And also because it would make my voice more hearable. And the last thing, I would change that because it would make it more entertaining.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital MultiMedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in broadcast engineering.
