We started gluing the second and third croc
Finished the first one and continued with the second and third one.
Using an I-pad, crocs, a hot glue gun and cardboard, I created cardboard crocs because I thought it would be cool to make cardboard crocs.
During this process, I learned that it's smart to take all of the measurements and the same time and to make the measurements a little bit bigger than what using to tale measurements.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I made my croc how I wanted it to be.
A challenge I overcame on this project was the measurements and getting the cardboard to stay together. I was able to do it by using actual crocs to take measurements and using a hot glue gun to glue the cardboard together.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the size we first made the measurements. The reason why I would change it is because we made them too small and the crocs are pretty small now.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to Engineering Design because I had to try to make sure the croc actually fit using trial and error. A job that relates to engineering design is a technician.
This is my final product(although there is another piece of cardboard on the bottom)
