Using an I-pad, copy-right free images, a microphone, and I-movies. I created a video about me because had to make a video about myself without showing myself. I also wanted to figure out how to do a voice over.

During this process, I learned how to add background sounds and music. I also learned how use a microphone and add a voiceover. I used copyright free images, because I couldn't use pictures of me, in my video. The video I made was in between 30 and 60 seconds. 

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to digital citizen because  I used copy-right free images.

A challenge I overcame on this project was learning how to add background sounds. I was able to do it by looking around the screen and finding how to add background sound. I also learned how to add a voice over. I was able to do that by getting a microphone and looking around the screen for something that looked like it would be a voice over.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change  the time I spent on finding pictures. The reason why I would change it is because I spent like 2 day trying to find pictures for my video. I also had close to no idea what I was doing and should have left time to figure other stuff out.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers because I made a video and videos are types of Digital Multimedias.
