Using cardboard and hot glue, I created a cardboard keyboard because it was the first thing that came to mind besides we were wasting a lot of time to find something to make.

During this process, I learned that I need to get my work done first and play later.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I used imaginative solutions.

A challenge I overcame on this project was running out of time. I was able to do it by working away from others.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change how slow I worked. The reason why I would change it is because I almost ran out of time.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Business Management because I am trying to find a cheaper way to make a keyboard.
