Daily Log-1

Hello and welcome back to a new project. For This new project it a free for all. I chose to do a drone project because we have not done a project with the drones. For the first day of my project I finished my list of 10 good ideas and my planning questions.

Daily Log-2

Hello and welcome back to the 2nd day of my project. I first have began to look for an example. Today I took the measurements of the bottom ,the sides, and the top on the house I am going to be building. I also started to cut the side of the popsicle sticks.

Welcome to the 3rd day. Today I started off by cutting more sticks. Then the took the measurements of the door and windows. I took several pictures and then uploaded them into my website. Then I added the captions to my pictures.

Hello and welcome back to an other day today I have started to combine the sticks and hot glue them. After assembling the walls I took some pictures and added them to my website. Then I added the walls together to make a cube looking object.

Today I started by adding finishing touches to my house. Later I grabbed my iPad and record my movie and then edited my movie. Next Uploaded my movie on the website.

PARAGRAPHS

Using a hot glue,a tablet,a PC, and Ice pop sticks I created my last project. I firstly chose to do this project because I have not done anything similar towards this. Secondly I thought it would be a fun way to learn more about Architecture.

During this process, I learned more about Architecture and measurements. I learn more Architecture because they build and draw houses. I learned more about measurement because I needed them for my house and I had to redo them.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to global designer because I recorded everything I did and posted it on my website for everyone to see.My project also ties to Innovative Designer because I used multiple technologies to solve a problem.

The challenges I was able to over come were redoing the measurements and redoing cutting sticks. I was able to over come doing the wrong measurements by redoing them. I was able overcome the challenge of cutting the sticks wrong by taking the new measurements and measuring the sticks and cutting them again.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the design and height. The reason I would the design is because I think I could have challenged myself and done more things on the outside. The reason I would change is the height is because I could have add a other level to make it look better.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Architecture.
