Day 2
Using tinker cad, I created I rook multi cup because Chess is one of my favorite board games.
During this process, I learned how to make a multi cup that is easy to make.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to knowledge constructor because I used the knowledge I had of tinker cad and 3D printing that my uncle had taught me.
A challenge I overcame on this project was remembering how to print. I was able to do it by asking a friend for help.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the color. The reason why I would change it is because we only had one color.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in 3D printing.
Q1. I made this project by myself.
Q2. The only materials I will need are the computer and tinker cad.
Q3. My plan for this project is to make a rook from the board game chess. I got looked up a picture of the rook so I knew what the project had to look like.
Q4. One unique quality my project will have is, a opening in the top to put pencils and/or pens. Also the bottom is completely sealed so if you wanted you could put a drink or a snack in side.
Day3
This the final product. On the inside it is empty so you can put anything you like inside. This would be a great item for people who love chess.
