Using electronic snap circuit, I created 5 different uses for a fan because fans are cool. Also fans can be used as great energy sources. The reason I picked 5 different projects using a fan is because fans are super easy to operate and use. Also they help lower the usage of non-renewable resources.
During this process, I learned how to use electronic snap circuit . Using ESC (or electronic snap circuit) is pretty complicated because if you don't put the right wire in the right place it with not work, explode, or cause a power outage, or all three. When I was using ESC I made sure I did everything correctly by following the instructions for each project.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because I use what little know I had on electronic snap circuits to create five different projects. It was pretty hard doing these projects with little knowledge so I had a friend help me with each project design.
A challenge I overcame on this project was finding power source. I was able to do it by asking friends for help. I had to ask for help because it didn't work the first time I the first project. The reason it didn't work was because it needed new batteries and I didn't know where the batteries were, but my friend did.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the number of projects. The reason why I would change it is because there were too many projects. From first look at each project it looks pretty easy but really it was super hard. The reason it was hard is because you have to put everything in a certain place or else it won't work properly.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in circuitry. Circuitry is actual a pretty cool career, it connects to jobs like electrician, computer designing, robotics designing, etc.
This my first project, a fan launcher.
This is my second project, a fan powered light.
This is my third project, the fan doesn't actual spin because it is a connection.
This is my fourth project, it is a little like the first project but it doesn't launch the fan so you can use it to cool off on a hot day.
This is my fifth and final project, this shows that even from a far electricity can still give out the same amount of power, as shown in project one.
