• Using augmented reality, I created a asteroid hitting the earth or like last day on earth project because I kinda liked it when the idea came to my mind. Also it felt like I should do it because it seemed like it would be the most entertaining one.

• During this process, I learned how to use augmented reality to make things move and for things to look real. It also taught me how to make a cube turn into an actual story.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Computational Thinker because I can solve tough problems in my project. The types of projects I solved were trying to get the asteroid at the perfect length and also I had to solve on how to make my guy wave.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was when I couldnt see my asteroid on the cube on my I pad. I was able to do it by making it closer and giving it more fire to make it burn brighter. Also I hasd to make it the perfect size so it wasnt to huge for the actual project itself.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change how sort of big the city was. The reason why I would change it is because It was a small city that was on the cube. I wanted a lot more space and a lot more time to finish building the entire city and making it a lot more detailed with more cars and things.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the  Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in 3d Artist because I can create three dimensional creations. Also I can create a 3d model that has a lot of visual affects. I can have many animations for my 3d project.
