Make sure you have your video of a project
Using cardboard, duct tape, plastic rap and scissors. I created a flying car because me and my partner decided we both wanted to make it. Also me and my partner thought it would look really good.
During this process, I learned that my car wont be perfect looking and that its best to just try. My project didnt have a good windsheild and we had people saying it looked bad. Me and him ignorned them and still went through with it.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to because Innovative designer because I am able to navigate and talk to my group and came up with stuff off the top of our heads not coppyrighted.
A challenge I overcame on this project was when I wanted to give up on our project I didnt and kept working. I was able to do it by getting insperation from my partner and working with him.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the shape of my project. The reason why I would change it is because I dont like how it is just a box I would rather it be more realistic.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the egineering and design because we designed a project on paper and we engineered by making the actual car CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in building managmeant because it works with making things and designing how they would work on paper or a computer.
