Using cardboard from my teacher, I created cardboard solar oven because me and my partner thought it would be fun to make something a bit more challenging.
During this process, I learned how to make different things with cardboard.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I drew a picture of what I was going to make. And then I started to build the solar oven with cardboard and hot glue. Then I took the video.
A challenge I overcame on this project is the tin foil on the roof to reflect light in to it. I was able to do it by using a small peace of cadboard.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the the size. The reason why I would change it is because it looks a bit over kill.
