Using my computer, iPad, and Brain Pad pulse, I created two videos of the Brain Pad pulse because i wanted to work with a micro-bit like device that has a screen.
During this process, I learned how to play Mary had a little lamb to create music with the Brain Pad pulse.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Computational because i made videos that show i coded with the Brain Pad with my previous knowledge.
A challenge I overcame on this project was not knowing how to upload my code to the micro bit. I was able to do it by watching tutorials and asking for help.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how many videos i created. The reason why I would change it is because i wanted to create more videos showing what the brain Pad could do since it had a screen.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the Computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers as a Web developer because a web developr creates websites and codes like i did in this project.
