I am working in a team of three.

I will need my computer, cardboard and colors.
What is your plan to create in this project?
me and my groups plan is to make an Fish tank.
What unique qualities will your project have?
The uniqiue qualities my project will have is it will be there will be aspects that not are just cardboard and will use many materials to make the fish.
On the first day i did my list of 10 good ideas.
worked on planning questions.
Decided on what i wanted to do for my project.
started collecting the cardboard.
On the second day we started to cut the cardboard out to build our walls.
We also started to make cardboard fish to put in the tank.
On day 3 we started to cut out walls while also making fish out of cardboard and glue.
On day 4 we made more fish out of cardboard and hot glue.
We also started to structure what we wanted the fish tank to look like and what unique features it could have.
On day 5 we decided to make more fish.
We also glued the carboard together to create the fish tank.
On day 6 we glued the blue paper to the inside of the tank.
We glued rocks and moss on the bottom and on the walls inside the tank.
On day 7 we continued to glue more rocks and moss down.
We continued to decorate the inside of the tank by adding the fish we made.
On day 8 we decorated the outside of the box by gluing black paper to the outside.
we also made fish to hang from string inside of the tank.
On day 9 we continue to make fish to hang from the the top the box inside the tank.
We finally finish the project and turn it in.
Using Cardboard, hot glue, paper, string, stones, fake moss, scissors, googly eyes, markers and my Ipad, I created Fish tank because i wanted to know what it was like to work in a team and use my creative free will.
During this process, I learned how to distribute work and stay on task while also having fun.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative communicator because we used our ideas and expressed how we wanted the structure to be built and building communication skills.
A challenge I overcame on this project was managing our time. I was able to do it by working harder but also asking for some extra time to finish.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how we did the walls or the tidiness of how we did everything. The reason why I would change it is because it became a little messy as we continued to create our project.

My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in Structure/civil designer because it focuses on building roads or buildings like what we did while creating our fish tank.
