8P4 Adafruit

Using Adafruit coding, I created Marry Had a Little Lamb. I wanted to create Marry Had a Little Lamb because it was one of my childhood memories. I think this was a fun project because it allowed me to go back to feeling like a kid again. 

During this process, I learned that I am very passionate about music. I did not know that I would like to do this as much as I did. I learned that I will be passionate about music even tho I thought I was gonna quit Band next year. 

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project is tied to innovation and design because it allows me to design things in the real world. I think that I could make money in the real world by 3D printing things and selling them to the public.

A challenge I overcame on this project was making this in a very short amount of time. I was able to do it by getting some help from friends and doing it at home. I was out for two days because of breaking my knucle so I had to come back and do it in a short period of time and work a lot at home to get it done.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the whole project. The reason why I would change it is because I have seen some other people's projects and they looked much better and gave me some more ideas. One example is Landon's project, He did hard rock blues witch is a song that I really like but he did it before me so I had to do something different.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in Computer Programming. It connects to Computer Programming because I programmed an adafruit to make sounds and a light show. Even tho I did this project in a very small amount of time I still got it done and tried to get a good grade.
