We made our 10 good ideas and did our planning questions.
We decided on what to build and started.
We continued to add more layers to get more pictures for the imotion.
We added a little in the inside for fun, but continued to add more layers.
We finished the building and added the last photos right before the bell.
Using iMotion, I created a 1080 photo video because I wanted to learn how to use multiple photos to make a time lapse. I was interested in seeing how still images could turn into a moving video. This helped me understand how time-lapse videos are created.
During this process, I learned how to make a good quality iMotion video. I practiced adjusting settings and organizing my photos correctly. This helped improve the overall look of my final project.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project connects to Creative Communicator because I used my video to send a message. The iMotion video served as a clear example of communication through digital media.
A challenge I overcame during this project was figuring out what to do for the iMotion video. I had trouble deciding what materials and ideas to use at first. I solved this by thinking through my options and choosing ideas that would not take too long.
If I could do this project again, I would change the number of photos we took. Having more photos would have made the video longer and smoother. This would improve the overall time-lapse effect and make it more interesting.

My project connects to the Digital Multimedia program because I used text, sound, and video together. This project also connects to careers in digital media production because it involves creating and editing visual content.
