Initial Teacher Training

Hastings High School is a popular and very successful school in Burbage, Leicestershire. We have an excellent reputation with regard to Initial Teacher Training and are pleased to be able to offer Secondary PGCE opportunities through our partnerships with a range of providers, in particular the University of Leicester, Loughborough University and Coventry University. In the past, we have hosted students from Birmingham City University as well as supporting students to achieve QTS through the Assessment Only route. 

As well as training the next generation of teachers, Hastings is a great place for Early Career Teachers (ECTs). We work in partnership with The Leicestershire and Rutland Teaching School who provide high quality training via Ambition Institute to our ECTs and mentors.
