Governing Board
The purpose of the Governing Board at Hastings is to support and monitor the work of the staff as they seek to provide the best possible education for their pupils.
They have the task of agreeing with the Head Teacher the school’s strategic direction, aims and policies. The focus is the School’s Development Plan and the allocation of resources to support the plan. In order to assist the Governors in meeting these tasks, a number of sub-committees meet regularly with senior staff. In this way the Governors, the Co-Headteachers and staff work closely together.
If any parent or member of the community has any concern about the school, its policies, staff or pupils, they should take up the matter with the Headteacher.
