Year 6 Open Evening 2025 - Thursday 2nd October 4-7pm
Today saw pupils from Hastings High School achieve another fantastic set of results. 70% of pupils achieved at least a grade 4 in both Maths and English, a figure expected to be well above the national average.
Many pupils achieved a string of grades 7-9, with 44% pupils achieving at least one of these top grades, and 18% of pupils achieving 5 or more of these top grades. 4 pupils achieved a clean sweep of grades 7 to 9. This included; Olivia with 9 grade 9’s and 1 grade 7 and Matthew with 6 grade 9’s, 2 grade 8’s and 2 grade 7’s.
Many pupils made outstanding progress during their time at Hastings with special mentions to those with the highest progress alongside achieving a host of top grades.

We aim to expand our fitness resources, empowering our students to delve deeper into the physical and psychological advantages that come with regular physical activity, both during school hours and beyond.
Get ready for an electrifying experience with our 'All Night Physical Activity Challenge'! This event, scheduled to span from the evening of Friday, 15th March at 20:00 to the morning of Saturday, 16th March at 10:00, promises an unforgettable night of energy and enthusiasm. Our students will engage in a variety of dynamic activities, including indoor football, basketball, badminton, volleyball, rowing, indoor cricket, yoga, and many other sports.
This challenge marks the culmination of Hastings CARES week. We anticipate a grand finale where participants will join the Hastings High School parkrun at 09:00 on Saturday, aiming to set a new record for participation. We warmly invite parents, guardians, and friends to be a part of this inspiring parkrun event.
Your support in this endeavour is invaluable. We welcome contributions to bolster the spirits of those bravely undertaking this challenge. Your donations, whether monetary or in the form of fitness equipment, will greatly enhance our curriculum and extracurricular activities, fostering a healthier, more vibrant school environment.

GCSE certificates are now ready for collection. Please collect them from school on Saturday 18th November between 10.30am & 11.30am.
If you require your certificates to be collected by another person please make sure they bring a signed letter of consent from you and some ID with them.
