Students are encouraged and supported in presenting their research and projects. Students present at local and regional conferences, and can publish in student focused research journals, such as the Journal of Psychological Inquiry and the Psi Chi Journal of Undergraduate Research.

Riley Lanning presented her research titled “The Impact of High-Protein Breakfast on Food Cravings and Food Cue Reactivity: A Randomized Crossover Design.”
Riley Lanning presented her research titled “The Impact of Dietary Changes and Resource Availability on Psychological Well-Being: A Study of International College Students in the Rural Midwest.”
Alexandra Richards presented a poster “Differences Between LGBTQ and non-LBGTQ College Students in Perceived Psychological Stress and Coping Strategies.”

Riley Lanning and Nils Schaefer, gave an oral presentation on their study titled “Fostering Open-Mindedness and a Global Community in the Rural Midwest: An Inquiry Into the Experiences of Bilingual College Students.”
Claire Hubbard presented a paper titled “An Exploration of Campus Community and Student Engagement,” which is an exploration of student patterns of involvement on the Hastings College campus.
