You can register users, create and assign unlimited tests and questions, embed images, videos and documents and save up to and review 100 test results per month (taken via Groups).

Since your account is FREE, you will need to create groups to administer your tests:

• From the Dashboard, click on Groups (right side of screen).
• Choose New Group
• Name your group and click create
• Click Add Members
• You have 2 options
  • Enter Manually- you type in student information and create the account
  • Create Registration Codes-
    • You decide how many codes you will need for the group (# in your class)
    • Print and pass out the codes to students
    • They will go to www.classmarker.com/register/ and create their account with their code.
    • Have students use hartselletigers.org information
• You can view members information but you cannot reset their password. They will have to follow instructions online if they need a new password.

One of the great thing about this site is the ability to create a question bank. If you use ClassMarker throughout the year, then when exam time comes, you will have an entire bank of questions ready to go.

When you create a question, you can create a category to organize your questions by theme or chapter. This also gives you the option to add all the questions from chapter 1, 2, etc... and leave out the ones you do not want.

You do NOT have to use the Question Bank! You can go straight to creating a test and only create your questions for that test. However, that will limit you ability to use the questions on other future tests.

• Click on the test you want to give in the TEST section of the Dashboard
• Click ASSIGN
• Choose Assign to Group. If you use the Via Link, your results will NOT be saved for a free account.
• Choose the Group that you want to take your test.
• Make your choices: Availability, #of attempts, time limit, # of question to display, randomize, results, etc. Click Assign.
  • I would leave Resume Later to YES and Printing to NO.
• Students in that group will see the test and have access at the time you specified in the choices above.
