During term 4 we will be inquiring into the following central idea:

Theme: Sharing the Planet

Central Idea: Circumstance can affect a right to education.

What we've been up to:

In maths we have been looking at odd and even numbers. We now know that you can halve only even numbers.

In science, we planted cress. We are going to observe over time and see if it grows. 

In music, we have been playing the ocarina.

This term was world book day! We all dressed up as our favourite characters from books. It was a lovely day celebrating authors, illustrators and our favourite books.

This term we have been going to the country club for Tennis lessons.

We went on our school trip to Kent Life. We visited a Victorian school, visited the animals and went on the tractor. It was a lovely day.

This term, Beech class have been doing dance in their indoor PE lessons. The created a dance routine pretending to be different people you would find at the circus including clowns and acrobats.

For outdoor learning, we went out to recreate some artwork using outdoor materials. It was lovely to spend the afternoon in the sun, being creative.

This term we grew cress using cotton wool.

This term we made Easter cards. They moved using a fulcrum and a lever.
