Purpose:  The purpose of this experiment is to investigate the mass properties and relative abundance of isotopes for the element, Beanium (symbol, Bn) and to calculate the atomic mass of this element 

Hypothesis:  When the mass and relative abundance of each isotope is known, then the average atomic mass can be calculated because average atomic mass is a weighted average.

Materials: Sample of beans (white, black eye pea, pinto), calculator, balance, cup, weighing dish

Safety:  Don't eat the beans
