Purpose: To learn the graphical relationship between pressure, volume, temperature, and moles of a gas. To derive a relationship between all four variables.
Hypothesis: If we measure the volume and pressure of a gas at different temperatures, then we can prepare a graph to display the relationship between them and prove the Gas Laws.

Summary of Procedure: In this experiment, we will use Vernier electronic devices to measure the pressure of a sample of air at different volumes. A syringe will be attached to a pressure sensor, which will measure the pressure of air inside the syringe as it is depressed and the volume is decreased. A graph of volume vs. pressure will be made. In this experiment, we will also use a data collection device to measure the temperature and pressure of a sample of air in a test-tube. The test-tube will be placed in different temperature water baths, and the resulting pressure will be measured. A graph of temperature vs. pressure will be mad
