Nutrition, Health and Healing

Presented by Kimberly Phillips and Judith McLean. Learning about healthy choices for affordable, fun, and easy snacks.

Congratulations to the Class of 2024!

My name is Judith McLean. I am a member of the Mathematics Department here at Capital Preparatory Magnet School (CPREP). I joined the CPREP community over a year ago and have learned so much from its curious, amazing and talented students as well as from the wonderful warm and welcoming staff. I love mathematics and it has been a great pleasure of mine to share that passion with the students in each classroom that I serve and throughout the school in general.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy learning about and preparing plant-based meals. Any opportunity I get to share this knowledge via demonstrations or oral presentations I cease it. It will be an honor for me to share some ideas on how to create simple healthy delicious treats at this year’s Social Justice Conference. I am looking forward with excitement to meet you in the “Nutrition, Healing & Simple Healthy Eating” Booth.
