Letters of Recommendation

Letters of recommendation are NOT needed for UC and CSU admissions. Typically letters of recommendation are only needed for some private and out of state universities.

Valencia High School seniors who need to request letters of recommendations should speak with their counselor and teachers prior to adding them to their college application.

It is required that students give at least two weeks notice to their recommenders so that they have ample time to complete the best letter.

A brag sheet is also needed for this process and students can find it by logging into Xello or by clicking the link below. Once completed, a copy will be sent to the student and the counselor.
