***SUGGESTED COURSES FOR COLLEGE NOW! STUDENTS***
The College NOW! Program allows high school students to enroll in college level courses without paying tuition fees.
COC Enrollment/Registration steps for HS Students:
1. Apply to COC using the statewide community college application system, CCCApply. Every student needs to apply each semester (even if you took a class over summer.). https://www.canyons.edu/studentservices/outreach/earlycollegeprograms/collegenow/
2. Student sets-up their MyCanyons account (one time only). If you already took a COC class, you do not need to set it up again.
3. Student completes a 1-time Orientation. If you already took a COC class, you do not need to do the orientation again.
4. Student asks their counselor to approve the courses they want to take and get the counselor and principal signatures on the College Now Form (CNF) (counselors will provide both signatures until further notice.) Your counselor will send the signed CNF back to you. The CNF is sent to earlycollege@canyons.edu to process. This is the critical part. THE STUDENT MUST EMAIL THE CNF TO THE EARLY COLLEGE (earlycollege@canyons.edu).
5. Register & Pay.
6. Once the student is enrolled, the student should provide proof of enrollment to their counselor.
7. Attend Class. All classes will have an Orientation Letter* students should read before the first day of class.
*Orientation Letters are used with Distance and Online Learning classes. Since all classes are currently one or the other, all classes have Orientation Letters found on https://www.canyons.edu/academics/onlineeducation/orientationletters/index.php
