Rebecca Chadwick
Hello Families and welcome to the 2025-2026 school year. My name is Rebecca Chadwick and I am the School Counselor at Harmony Union School District. I am so excited to be here at Harmony and am looking forward to all the amazing experiences we will share this year.
A little about me: My name is Rebecca Chadwick and I am a native Southern Californian, but have been happy to call Northern California home for over 20 years now. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, a Master's Degree in Counseling along with a School Counseling Credential (formal title: Pupil Personnel Services Credential), and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership for Social Justice. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and my pets, and am always on the search for things to learn and experience.
My favorite parts of working at Harmony have been the amazing students and families I've been able to know, the outstanding teaching and support staff we have here, and of course, our beautiful campus that just continues to become more amazing! This is an incredible place to learn and I am proud to be a member of our school community.
Hello! My name is Ariana Schwalbenberg, and I’m the new school counseling intern here for the 2025-2026 school year. I am excited to get to know you all this year and be part of your child’s educational journey!
As an intern, I’m here to support the social, emotional, and academic well-being of all students. While I work under the supervision of Rebecca Chadwick, our school counselor, my role involves offering a variety of services, including individual counseling, group activities, classroom guidance lessons, and helping students navigate challenges that may arise in their academic and personal lives.
A little about me: I grew up down the highway in Petaluma but now call Rohnert Park home. I'm currently in the last year of my school counseling program at Sonoma State University and have my bachelors from SSU in psychology. Outside of internship, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends whether it’s sharing a home cooked meal, enjoying a river day, or curling up with a good book! I am an animal lover and have a 3 year old cat named Sam, a Madagascar hissing cockroach named Courtesy who helps out with the farm camp I co-run in the Summer, and an aquarium with a handful of ember tetras, snails, and one African dwarf frog.
I am so looking forward to getting to know the community here and working alongside y’all to ensure a positive and supportive experience!
Hello! My name is Amy DeJung, and I am a counseling intern at Harmony Union School District. I landed in Santa Rosa after receiving my Bachelors degree in child development from Humboldt State University in 2021. I am now in the process of receiving my Masters in Counseling through Adams State University with the goal of working at the elementary level as a school counselor.
In my free time you will find me running in our beautiful regional parks, trying new restaurants, and spending time with my family. I look forward to finishing out the 2025-2026 school year with all of the wonderful students, families, and staff at Harmony!
