Texas Farm Credit Services has a mission to support agriculture and rural communities today and tomorrow. Our customer-owned cooperative proudly offers two programs that recognize high school seniors who excel both in the classroom and their FFA chapters and 4-H clubs.
Ag Student of the Month: Each of Texas Farm Credit's 16 branches will recognize two outstanding students per month in March and April 2020. Winners will receive $100 Visa gift cards and will advance to the selection process for the Marsha Martin Scholarship.
Texas Farm Credit will be awarding SIX Marsha Martin scholarships in the amount of $2,000 each for graduating seniors who are involved in FFA or 4-H and are pursuing a college degree in an agriculture-related field of study. These SIX scholarship recipients will be selected from the monthly AgStudent of the Month winners.

RIGHT TO LIFE OF EAST TEXAS
Right To Life Of East Texas is offering a 1,000 dollar scholarship to graduating seniors who plan to further their careers (college, trade school, military, other). The scholarship will e awarded to individuals, not institutions, based on the quality of the essay submitted in accordance with the theme described below. The scholarships will be presented at our annual Celebrate Life Banquet in Longview on February 23, 2019; the winners and their parents will be invited guests.

The University of North Texas restricts Freshmen from living off-campus as well. Therefore, scholarships may be limited to upper-classmen at these universities.

Chapter 416 is proud to sponsor the Earle North Parker Essay Contest, an annual essay contest that provides scholarship funds for High School Seniors (and home schooler’s) for college.
Our intent is to offer students willing to do some research, provide strong rationale, logic, and thought to a topic pertaining to national defense or national pride and to present it in written form. The essays are printed in our local newsletter and published on our web site. The 1st place essay is automatically entered in the AFA Texas State Essay Contest where an additional $2000 for first and $1000 for second place are available.
