Technical English worksheets help students to obtain the vocabulary connected to Multimedia systems in a passenger car.

The course include 8 lessons. Completing the course takes approximately 18 academic hours (1 academic hour = 45 minutes).

· Lesson 2 Functions of the infotainment system (Duration approx. 90 minutes/2 academic hours)

· Lesson 3 Navigation systems (Duration approx. 90 minutes/2 academic hours)

· Lesson 4 Car radio and speakers (Duration approx. 90 minutes/2 academic hours)

· Lesson 5 Subwoofer (Duration approx. 90 minutes/2 academic hours)

· Lesson 6 Rear view camera (Duration approx. 90 minutes/2 academic hours)

· Lesson 7 Mobile phones in cars (Duration approx. 90 minutes/2 academic hours)

· Lesson 8 General electrics, tools and supply, problems with electrics, wiring diagram (Duration approx. 180 minutes/4 academic hours)

All skills are developed: reading, listening, writing and speaking. In addition, students can develop their customer service skills and social interaction.

A Final Test with the Key helps to find out how much the students have learned during the course.

Teacher’s Notes include the Key to exercises, comments and some ideas how to develop the material further. Also advice how to adapt exercises for students with special educational needs is included.

Generally, the reading texts are short which supports the students with reading difficulties and who find concentration on long text difficult.
