Connecting to a Home Network

Plug in Chromebook to ensure it has enough charge to connect. Chromebooks, when fully charged, will last for 5 to 7 hours depending on use.

1. Open and turn on Chromebook

2. Connect to your home WiFi

3. Click the status bar (gray box in the bottom right corner)

4. Click on the wireless network icon (upper left under power button)

A list of available networks will appear.

5. Click on your WiFi network

6. Student logs into Chromebook

7. Student enters their Hancock Google account, for example, michelle.dirksen23@hancock.k12.mo.us

8. Password will be the same password they use at school (this is their lunch pin - must be 8 digits long, so add additional 0's to front of numbers 00041237)


Connecting to Coolpad Hotspot Device

The device password is found inside the back panel of the device. The blue asset tag on the back of the mobile hotspot IS NOT the password. That is the asset tag for the device. You must open up the device to retrieve the password.
