Our transition back to school has gone very well. We are so excited to have our wonderful little Wildcats back in the building. Lanier is now a school for Inquiry, Investigation and Innovation. You will be hearing and seeing evidence through our Curious Classroom professional learning for all teachers along with our new STEM connections class, Genius Hour (4th) and ROAR (5th)! Our Wellness Team has implemented the 200% Accountability protocols with students and staff regarding masks, temp checks, social distancing and washing hands to keep everyone safe in an outstanding fashion. I appreciate you training up your child with these health and safety procedures. They are doing so great! We have spent these two A/B weeks assessing your child's reading and math level to meet their learning needs. Please access Canvas lessons for your child as we move forward with blended learning as needed. If you have Canvas questions, your child's homeroom teacher will be glad to help. Social distancing guidelines in the classroom, hallways, lunch arrival and dismissal have gone very smoothly under the close supervision of our teachers. Our car rider lines have gone smoothly and will continue to go even better. Reminders: school day starts at 7:45 (in their desk). Car rider pick up is 2:10(K-2) & 2:20(3-5/siblings). Please have car rider number clearly displayed in the window.  I appreciate your support and understanding as we return back to school. 

Nuestra transición de regreso a la escuela ha ido muy bien. Estamos muy emocionados de tener a nuestros maravillosos gaticos Salvajes otra vez en el edificio. Lanier es ahora una escuela para la exploración, investigación, e innovación.  Estarás escuchando y viendo evidencia a través de aprendizaje Profesional en nuestro Salón de Experimentos junto con nuestro nueva maestra  de la clase de conexiones STEM,  Hora de genios (4to) y rugido (5to)! Nuestro equipo de bienestar ha implementado los protocolos de responsabilidad con los estudiantes y el personal con respecto a máscaras, chequeo de temperatura, distanciamiento social, y lavado de manos para mantener a todos seguros de una manera excepcional. Lo están haciendo muy bien! Hemos pasado estas dos A/B semanas evaluando el nivel de lectura y matemáticas de su hijo/a para satisfacer las necesidades de aprendizaje. Puede tener acceso a las lecciones de su hijo/a en Canvas a medida que estamos avanzando con el aprendizaje  mixto como sea necesario. Si tienes preguntas referente a Canvas, la maestra de su hijo/a estará encantada de ayudarle. Las pautas de distanciamiento social en el salón de clase, los pasillos, la llegada al comedor y el despido a casa han ido bien y continuarán mejorando. Recordatorios: el día escolar empieza a las 7:45 ( en su escritorio). Recogida de los pasajeros de carros es a las 2:10 (k-2) y 2:20 (3-5/ hermanos). Por favor coloque la etiqueta del # del carro claramente visible en la ventana. Aprecio todo su apoyo y entendimiento por el regreso a la escuela
