Everwood Elementary will take the new Georgia School Climate Survey this year. Each parent or guardian is invited to take the family version to answer questions about the current school or schools you have a child or children attending. If two or more children attend the same school, please only complete one survey for that school.
The survey measures what you think about how the school engages with families. Answers are not linked to names in any way. When typing answers, please do not give names or information that you don’t want to share with this school. Data will be shared with school leaders to help improve the school and will be published on the GaDOE website.
Please help by sharing your honest opinion on this 22-question survey. To take the survey, please click this link: https://survey.gadoe.org/FM?sid=485E1532
If you have any questions about the survey, please contact Haley Collins at haley.collins@hallco.org .
Georgia’s Pre-K Program is a lottery-funded educational program designed to prepare Georgia’s four-year-olds for kindergarten. Children who are four years old on or before September 1 of the current school year and are Georgia residents are eligible to apply. Participation in Georgia’s Pre-K Program is voluntary for families and providers.
Our Dual Language Immersion Pre-K program offers students the opportunity to learn in two languages. Instruction is delivered 90% in Spanish and 10% in English, supporting early bilingualism while building strong literacy and academic foundations.
The Pre-K Application/Waiting List Form is available electronically. Please click the link next to each site you are interested in attending—links can be found within the linked document.
The Pre-K Lottery will take place on February 25 at 10:00 am.
New Everwood Elementary Spirit Wear is now available!! Please visit the link below to purchase spirit wear items. Our school gets 100% of the profits from these sales. Our Everwood families even have the option to have their spirit wear delivered to the school for FREE. We will notify you when your order is ready to be picked up from Everwood. There will be new designs and clothing types offered throughout the year.
For any transportation changes, please send a written note to your child’s homeroom teacher. If your child needs to switch to car rider, you must have a car rider tag or plan to pick up your child from the front office.
If you forget to send a note, please call the front office at 470-691-3940 to notify us of the change.
All transportation changes must be made before 1:30 p.m.
Please do not send transportation changes through Remind, as teachers may not see those messages before dismissal.
Thank you for helping us keep all students safe!

Parent Involvement
Arrival and Dismissal at Everwood
Arrival
Everwood doors open at 7:10am. Our EES teachers will help open car doors until 7:45am.
Please remain in the two car rider lines and refrain from entering the parking lot to release your student and/or walk them across the crosswalk. Know that a few of our students have been given permission to drop off in the parking lot area based on specific needs and challenges.
After 7:45, our teachers will enter the building to begin the day and students will need to exit their cars without teacher assistance and check in through the front office.
Dismissal
Students will be released at 2:20pm each afternoon. To keep cars off of McEver Rd, we ask that you arrive after 2:00pm to begin forming the two car rider lines. Also know that we record car rider numbers and release students based on the lane you are in. If you change lanes after your car rider number has been recorded, your child will be sent to the wrong line and it may cause significant delay.
*We ask for no student checkouts after 2:00pm. Thank you!!
