Hello Everwood parents and guardians!
As we approach the first day of school, we wanted to send out one more parent newsletter with updates and upcoming events. Please pay special attention to the arrival and dismissal procedures and take time to prepare for open house by completing the tasks below. See you soon!
** August 1- First day of school for students
Please click on the link below to complete important information about your student that we will need on the first day of school.
Important information about
ARRIVAL and DISMISSAL
Arrival
Everwood doors open at 7:15am. If you arrive before the school opens, please begin forming a line of cars in the right hand lane. (See the picture below.)
Dismissal
Students will be released at 2:20pm each afternoon. If you arrive prior to dismissal, please form two lines of cars in the two right hand lanes. Please do not park in the lane furthest to the left. That is reserved for cars entering our visitor parking lot. (See picture below.)
*We ask for no student checkouts after 2:00pm.
Morning procedures for car riders
Enter through the McEver Road main entrance.
Stay in the right hand lane.
Drop off begins at 7:15am.
Afternoon procedures for car riders

Follow one of the two lanes indicated in yellow.
Leave the left lane clear for visitor/teacher parking.
Be sure to have your family's car tag clearly visible on your dashboard.
Further instructions will be provided by school personnel once the dismissal process begins.
Free and Reduced-Price Meals

Remember that applying for free and reduced-price meals may also qualify your student for discounted fees for college entrance exams and scholarships.
This application needs to be completed every year, so please do not forget to complete it!

Everwood Elementary Spirit Wear is now available!! Please visit the link below to purchase spirit wear items. Our school gets 100% of the profits from these sales. Our Everwood families even have the option to have their spirit wear delivered to the school for FREE. We will notify you when your order is ready to be picked up from Everwood. There will be new designs and clothing types offered throughout the year.
