Snack, Lunch, and Birthdays

Snack

*Our class will have a morning snack each day. Please send your child a healthy snack in a bag separate from his or her lunch. 

*On some days first graders go out in the morning (during snack) or in the afternoon for an additional, shorter recess.

Lunch

Birthdays

We love to celebrate birthdays in first grade with a mystery reader!

Due to the increasing amount of food sensitivities and allergies in our environment, we have decided to eliminate edible birthday treats in Haddonfield Public Schools. We will no longer permit cakes, cookies, cupcakes or any other edible treats in the school for birthday celebrations. 

When your child's birthday is approaching, we can schedule a mystery reader time.  Thank you very much and please let me know if you have any questions!
