Roles and Responsibilities:
Plan/prepare activities/materials for gross motor activities that align with the current unit of study
Set up/break down gross motor equipment at the scheduled site of the day
Collaborate with the Preschool Support Team to ensure that the state and district preschool program gross motor guidelines are being met
Provide support to preschool teachers in the area of the assessment of student gross motor abilities
Provide support and suggest interventions to preschool families so that all children can succeed in and outside of the classroom

Length of time: 5 weeks
Should you have to do Gross Motor in an area that has limited space (such as the classroom), feel free to use these suggested activities that are limited-space friendly. Within the Gross Motor Curriculum, you will also find activities for limited spaces at the end of each activity under "In Small Spaces".
Equipment should stimulate at least 7 skills
One piece of equipment can stimulate 2 different skills at the most, e.g., balls could count for throwing and catching
