• Ensure that all of your students are entered into the Teaching Strategies (TS) Gold portal (email HPS Preschool Instructional Coaches, Katarzyna Ferrone or Christina Rivera, and ECDC Administrative Assistant, Gabrielina Tineo, for assistance regarding adding and/or removing students to/out of your TS Gold account)

• Complete TS Gold Home Language Survey for all of your students (resources available below)

• Review 2024-2025 Assessment Calendar guidelines (resources available below)

• Reach out to HPS Preschool Instructional Coaches, Katarzyna Ferrone and/or Christina Rivera, if you have any questions

Completing Home Language Survey

Prior to generating TS Gold Development and Learning Reports, ensure that you:

• Completed TS Gold Home Language Survey for all of your students

• Collected, entered, and leveled all of the required assessment data

 As you generate the reports, remember that:

• Checkpoint ratings (levels) should be finalized for all objectives/dimensions with the aligned assessment data prior to generating the reports (support document is available here)

• Development and content areas with no associated assessment data should be unchecked from the Areas of Development and Learning list 

• Finalized Checkpoint Level should be selected from the Include list

• Reports should be generated in both English and Spanish to support family’s linguistic needs when appropriate
