W.A.R.E: Wellness, Athletics, Recreation and Engagement
W.A.R.E continues to hold Weekly Wellness classes which are available to all HACC students. Students can enjoy professionally led Yoga, Afro Cardio, and Circuit Workout classes to relieve stress and boost energy. The classes are available at www.hacchawks.com under the Wellness Calendar. Participants may join via zoom or stream in from Evans PE Center Room 107 and Lancaster Main Room 227. Also, make sure to check the Hawks Wellness Calendar for additional W.A.R.E Wellness monthly programs.
The HACC Hawks men’s basketball programs has concluded for the winter 2022-23 season. The men’s basketball team put forth a valiant team effort as they endured a competitive schedule this past winter. The HACC Hawks Esports teams had an explosive start to the spring season as both the Rocket League team and Hearthstone player Raven Fisher held a strong win streak. Rocket League, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Rainbow six Siege and Hearthstone all secured their ticket in the NJCAAe Playoffs. Hawks are dominating in the cyber arena!
In other news, Fall Tryouts and Physicals for the 2023 seasons will be the week of August 14, 2023 located in the Evans PE Center. Students who are interested in joining a HACC Hawks athletic program must be enrolled full time and complete all NJCAA paperwork found on the Hawks website. W.A.R.E will also be providing Hawks Sport Camps for high school athletes where they will learn game fundamentals, improve their skill sets, gain valuable game play experience and have fun! Each camp will be instructed by HACC Athletics’ Head Coaching staff and will be held on the Harrisburg Campus in the Evans PE Center. Make sure to save the dates as you won’t want to miss these great opportunities! Registration will be available on the HACC Hawks Website Soon!

Time: 6-8 p.m.
Cost: $30 per camper
