Kudos to Cindy Muth for her tireless efforts in the creation of advising guides for the new math developmental pathways and multiple measures of placement. An additional thank you for her presentation to CITE and continued efforts to update the advising guide with this information. You’re a rockstar!

Kudos to Erika Steenland for leading the successful implementation of Curriculog, which has made it easy to process our curriculum forms electronically, and perhaps more importantly, to track where everything is in the process at any time. She has stayed on top of curricular changes this year, which promises to surpass last year’s total after one meeting where we approved 100 curricular forms (course and program changes). In addition, behind the scenes she has been an important member of the college codes project as we update Banner to reflect our new organizational structure.

Kudos to Beth Wagner in the library. As quoted by one of our HACC Students, “Thank you so much for your time! I have to say every single librarian has been helpful to me! If I were able to, I would hug you all as you make this process so much easier for me, a non traditional student doing virtual learning! Beth and her fellow librarians have been a beacon of light during the dark days of a pandemic and learning in a virtual world for me, the non traditional student.”

Kudos to Carol Davis, Ashley Hardy and Dale Hardy, Lancaster/Lebanon FMD, for learning how to operate the new MoonBeam3 device used in the fight against the COVID19 virus. Carol also trained the Lancaster custodial staff on the use of the device.

Kudos to Dale Hardy, Ron Worby and Ron Benkendorft, Lancaster/Lebanon FMD, for moving the furniture and other instructional items from the Lebanon Campus to the York Campus. Ron B. also coordinated sending the instructional items to other campuses for teaching purposes.

Kudos to the Lancater/Lebanon FMD custodial staff, Carlos Rodriquez, Elsa Regis, Kamden Brandt, Larry Harsh, Lornita Poysher, Sanh Nguyen, Wilma Montalvo and Ashley Hardy for their attention to detail, cleaning and sanitizing skills that keep our campuses safe for those that come onto our campuses.

Kudos to Erick Whiteside and Don Krow, Lancaster/Lebanon FMD, for their work on renovating two classrooms in the East Building on the Lancaster Campus.

Kudos to Jay Lohman for his outstanding work on the Midtown II move. His attention to detail and independent thinking and coordination in taking on the monumental task of figuring out what to do with 15 years of collected HACC “stuff.”.

Kudos to Shawne Hargis and the outstanding custodial team in helping move, dispose and/or recycle items from Midtown II. This is a great group effort!

Kudos to Gretchen McDonel for her detailed work on the organization of the fall return walkthroughs, spreadsheets, calls, site visits and overall care, concern and support in keeping us on track.

Kudos to Nicia Hollman for her support of the facilities team in getting invoices paid, ordering essential materials, supporting staff, learning new duties and helping to organize the department—bravo!

Kudos to Brandon Kiers, York Campus maintenance and Barb Smith, York Campus custodian for assisting the individual who had special needs and was on campus for an important meeting. Kudos to Jennifer Wright and Melissa Nagengast for securing a PASSHE Professional Development Organization award. The funding supports increased access to the pathway for credentialing and credit-bearing work for the early childhood workforce.

Kudos to the entire Auxiliary Services Team. Since March of 2020 when the campuses closed, they have been extremely committed to supporting our students. Most have been working on campus more days than not, even during the peak of COVID. All bookstore employees and Chef Tom and Chef Steve should be proud of all they accomplished during these challenging times to support our students.

Kudos to Steph Hockley, Kelly Pannebaker and Marcia Washinger for all of their hard work and collaboration with other departments on the Banner HR system changes for the one-college reorganization. They have continued to perform their normal job duties while also performing the extra tasks associated with the one-college reorganization project. Most of their work will go unnoticed to the College community, but it is critical to the operations of the College.

Kudos to Dawn Mull and Lori Amspacker for their continued hard work on the Banner finance system changes for the one-college reorganization. Over the past year, they have performed their normal duties and successfully developed the various system changes needed for the one-college reorganization. Most of their hard work has been transparent to the College community, but it is integral to the operations and success of the College.

Kudos to Mikayla Fullmer for your excellent work on various HACC retreats to ensure each is implemented without technical difficulties.

Kudos to Nicole L. Ernst, professor of geospatial technology, for her presentation on May 5^th in an ESRI panel discussion on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) funding and support models! She represented HACC well with GIS professionals from Foothill College, University of Minnesota, University of Michigan, and Virginia Tech.

Kudos to Darby Miller for working tirelessly to accommodate, make suggestions, and make recommendations for the Apple needs of our faculty and staff so that they have the Apple technology required to perform their jobs.

Kudos to Dave Shaffer for his in depth knowledge of all things HACC, not just technology, and his willingness to ALWAYS use that knowledge, experience, and historical data to enhance and support OITLE and ultimately HACC as well.

Kudos to Melissa Messner for being one of the kindest, most supportive, knowledgeable, and hardest working employees at HACC. I really appreciate her unselfish work ethic and her commitment to keeping our team on track regarding payroll issues.
