W.A.R.E continues to hold Weekly Virtual Wellness classes which are available to all HACC students. Students can enjoy professionally led Yoga, T’ai Chi, Functional Fitness and Circuit Workout classes. The classes can be found on the Hawks Wellness Calendar in addition to the monthly wellness programs and events. In March, W.A.R.E celebrated Women’s History Month honoring tennis icon Billie Jean King with both a film screening of Billie Jean King Documentary: A Female Tennis Champion and TEDTalk on her battle of the sexes tennis match. W.A.R.E provided great programs in April, such as WellSpan Health Virtual National Diabetes Prevention Program (Prevent T2). Additionally, in celebration of National Deaf History Month, W.A.R.E. welcomed all students to watch TEDTalk with Tamika Catchings, a 4x Olympic Gold Medalist, who overcame her hearing impairment and found her voice through sports.

The HACC Hawks men’s and women’s basketball programs concluded their 2021-22 season. The men’s team finished with a 3-7 overall record. The men’s and women’s basketball programs both look to improve and continue to grow as a team this coming season. The men’s basketball team top scorers were Keith Davis, Anthony Alviani, Christian Bingaman, Elijah Thomas and Matthew Fravel. For the women’s team, Mary Nyagwoka, with 22 points overall, Laquandra Climmons with 22 points, and Daniela Moreta with 21 points, were the team’s top scorers this winter season. The HACC Hawks Esports team has had an explosive start to the spring season as they began with an eight-game win streak. The Hawks are dominating in the cyber arena in each match! The Rocket League team has an overall record of 3-1 and the Call of Duty Vanguard team has an overall record of 4-0. Hawks Overwatch has a 2-2 overall record thus far this spring season, while the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate team holds a 7-4 record. Most recently, the HACC Hawks Rocket League team took on the Carl Sandburg College Chargers and captured the victory, 6-3. The Hawks Esports Overwatch team's match on March 4, 2022 against Trinity Valley Community College was chosen as the "Match of the Week" and was produced and casted by EsportsU which is partnered by the NJCAAe.
